What's Right for You and Your Dog?

Group classes for puppies are an excellent way to socialize your young dog. For dogs past the "puppy stage", classes are an ideal way to work on distraction training and to develop your dog's ability to remain under control around other dogs and to reinforce distraction training. However, many people enroll in puppy classes and then realize that they didn't get the results they were expecting. Sometimes there are situations where it is more cost effective to invest in one-on-one specific training than attending six to eight weeks of classes that are too generalized for some personalities and lifestyles, both 4-legged and 2-legged!

Group Puppy & Doggie Classes CANNOT help with many behaviors that are common concerns such as:

My dog is behaving improperly around small children My dog is exhibiting destructive behavior My dog is barking excessively My dog has separation anxiety My dog is urinating and defecating in the house My dog is running out the front door My dog is jumping on everyone who comes in the front door My dog does not obey me off-leash My dog is showing aggression towards people and/or other dogs My dog listens to me but to no one else in the household
